Welcome to the Savage world John. You will enjoy every mile of breaking the bike in and more. I too have been looking at saddlebags recently and hope you don't mind if I throw a couple of more questions into the pot.
The best style design I've seen (that looks like it will work) is the slanted one, but does anyone know what the maximum size is that will fit on this bike? I know an 11" x 9" x 5" will fit, but what about a 12" x 11" x 6" (or larger)? Are the Suzuki saddlebag supports the only ones that will fit this bike without custom drilling any holes and will they actually support any of these larger style bags? Thanx.
